Nintendon alkuvuoden suurin julkaisu on 5. maaliskuuta ilmestyvä DSi XL-käsikonsoli, jonka merkittävin ero edeltäjäänsä on fyysisesti suurempi koko. Helmikuun 12. päivänä Nintendo julkaisee myös pinkin version perinteisestä DSi-konsolista. Laitteen mukaan pakataan Nintendo Presents: Style Boutique -muotipeli.
Marraskuussa rajoitetusti julkaistua mustaa Wii-konsolia tulee saataville jälleen helmikuusta alkaen. Konsolin mukaan on pakattu alkuperäisen Wii Sportsin lisäksi Wii Sports Resort -urheilupelikokoelma sekä MotionPlus-lisälaite.
Vuoden ensimmäisen neljänneksen pelijulkaisuihin kuuluvat 26. maaliskuuta ilmestyvät Pokémon Heart Gold ja Pokémon Soul Silver. Wiille julkaistaan muun muassa Red Steel 2, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories sekä Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep.
