Varhain tänä aamuna Suomen aikaan järjestetty The Game Awards -juhla on palkinnut vuoden 2015 pelialan osaajia. Jo toista vuotta peräkkäin järjestettävässä tilaisuudessa tuomaristo ja yleisö valitsivat vuoden parhaimmat teokset, pelaajat, tekijät sekä yritykset.

Kategorioiden voittajat saivat Taru Sormusten Herran lavasteita ja erikoistehosteita tehneen WETAn suunnitteleman palkintopatsaan. The Game Awards järjestetään joka vuosi. Tällä kertaa gaalaa juhlittiin Los Angelesissa.
